I like to keep a nice and somewhat orderly pub, so I’ve come up with a few rules. They’re easy to follow and make my life a lot easier as well, so take a looksee before you get yourself goin’ here at The Plot.
- Be yourself. (Don’t impersonate other authors. On character nights, pick one character and stick with it until the next character night, when you can change if you wish.)
- Dress appropriately. No shirt, no shoes, no service. (Use only your own characters.)
- Help yourself to drinks. (I am your bartender, but everyone has to sleep sometimes.)
- Know your limit. (Try to refrain from putting up long speeches about you, what you look like, what the pub looks like, your mysterious past, or whatever else.
- Don’t make me call in security. (Behave yourself. No trolling, flaming, fighting, etc. If it’s part of your character’s personality, keep it within reason or pick a different character.)
- Relax and have fun! (This isn’t meant to be some teenage quest RPG. Relax, order a drink, meet other characters, share drink mixes, complain about your authors on character nights, etc.)
Not a pub member? (Don’t have a character? Fill out a membership application before you get started.
